& Policies
At The Woodlands Day Spa & Retreat we are committed to providing our guests with a quality, relaxing experience. To ensure a calm environment for everyone, we will be offering some guidelines and policies on how to properly spa with us.
Before Your Spa Visit…
We strongly recommend making your spa reservations well in advance of your desired appointment date. A valid credit card will be required to reserve your spa appointment.
Please use our online booking service or call the Spa Front Desk at (920.coming.soon!)
For couples services, parties of two or more, guests who are pregnant, workshops, or retreats, please contact the Spa Front Desk for assistance.
It is our intention to assist you in maximizing the benefits of your spa experience. If you have questions, concerns, specific preferences, allergies, or any other special health needs, please let us know at the time of booking. This ensures the staff can safely and properly accommodate your needs.
Guests must be at least 18 years of age to receive treatments and use the spa facilities. Guests 16 and 17, accompanied by an adult and with a minor child waiver on record, may have the same privileges.
For the comfort of all our guests, appropriate swimwear is required in all mixed-gender spa areas. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
On the Day of Your Spa Visit…
We suggest you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you receive the full benefit of your service and overall spa experience. This allows time for check-in, filling out any health intake forms, changing into a robe and slippers, and enjoying some relaxation and refreshments in The Hollow before service. Please note that arriving late will take away from your spa service time. All services will finish on time to allow our next guest their full treatment.
We ask that all personal items be placed and remain in your locker. We cannot be responsible for lost items.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the spa.
Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, cigars, vaping, and marijuana) is prohibited as we are committed to providing a healthy experience for all guests.
For your utmost comfort, all Spa Technicians are professionally trained in proper draping throughout all services.
Communicate your preferences and any concerns you may have with any of our Team Members. This will ensure an overall, quality experience.
Please Respect Quiet Areas…
We ask that you kindly maintain a quiet and peaceful atmosphere in all areas and rooms.
So that you and others may truly disconnect, unwind, and enjoy a quality, immersive spa experience, we adhere to a cell phone free policy. All digital devices must be placed on silent or turned off while in your locker during your stay. We are compassionate in regard to extenuating circumstances, so if you must retrieve your digital device, please limit its use to the front desk waiting area. Please note that, outside of these parameters, you may be approached by a Team Member with a gentle reminder.
After Your Spa Visit…
Take your time after your treatments. If you are a member or have purchased a Day Pass or Self-Care Passport, please don’t rush. Enjoy a Meditation Suite, an After Glow Suite, or one of the many complimentary wellness amenities.
Tipping…
To show appreciation for your service, we ask that you tip your Spa Technician appropriately. The industry average here in the United States is a 20% gratuity and can be adjustable either way depending on quality of service. Envelopes are available for cash tips at checkout or you may leave a gratuity on your credit card or gift card.
Cancellation & No-Show Policies…
We make every attempt to be ready for your appointment at the scheduled time as they are prepared exclusively for you. In return, we would ask that you respect our Cancellation & No-Show policies. We understand that situations may arise, leading to a cancelled appointment. We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide an adequate cancellation notice may result in a fee of 50% of the scheduled service. A No-Show fee will result in being charged in full for the missed scheduled service.
When an appointment is missed, our Spa Technicians not only lose your business, but also the potential business of another guest. We are obligated to compensate our Team for their time.
Inappropriate Behavior…
Our services are for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only. Sexual actions or discussions of any such kind between the Guest and the Spa Technician is never appropriate. Doing so will result in immediate termination of your service, a refusal of all future services, and being charged in full for your service.
